Fields of Application

Bonding of:

• Polyester edges
• CPL & Melamine resin edges, also so called thin edges
• PVC & ABS edges (primed)
• Uncompressed resin-impregnated paper edges
• Solid & veneer edges

Advantages

• Very clean processing
• No stringing
• High green strength
• Can be for fast processing machines also 

Properties of the adhesive

• Base:  EVA-Copolymers
• Density: Approx. 1.18 g/cm(3)
• Color: Beige-Transparent
• Viscosity Brookfield HBTD: 
  • @180°C: approx. 180,000 + 25,000 mPa s
  • @200°C: approx. 100,000 + 20,000 mPa s
• Melting index according to DIN 53 735 (MFI 150/2,16): approx. 40 + 10 g/10 minutes
• Softening point (ring and ball): approx. 100+ 5°C
• Process Temperature: 180-200°C. Lower Tempuratures may cause faulty gluing, higher temperatures maintained for a long time may damage the adhesive and lead to decomposition.
